Behold…A Lyrical Queen From The EastSide Of Detroit! CRIM

pierianx

CRIM is a lyrical queen reigning in the underground HipHop scene, representing the east side of Detroit with a style that fuses raw lyricism, anime, cartoons, and video game influences into a one-of-a-kind sonic experience. With nearly 15 years of dedication, she has mastered the art of making people feel—whether that means inspiring, making them laugh, dance, or leaving them with a whole new perspective after a performance.

Her mission is clear: take her music as far as possible. That could mean Grammy awards, Billboard success, or even dominating international markets. Regardless of where the journey takes her, one thing is certain—her music is destined to impact lives.

CRIM’s journey hasn’t been without detours. She’s stepped away from music multiple times, but every return has been a reminder that this is where she belongs. No matter how low life has taken her, music has always been the anchor pulling her back, confirming that this is her true calling.

Her first inspiration came from home—her father, who would host cyphers with neighborhood kids and cousins outside their house. Her father had once pursued music as a teenager but chose to step away to raise a family. That legacy, combined with the undeniable talent of Detroit artists, continues to fuel CRIM’s passion.

Her brand has evolved over the years, from Crimson Kiid to Crimson Alchemist, and now, as of 2024, she’s officially CRIM. Fifteen years deep, the name may have changed, but the fire remains the same.

One of her career-defining moments was performing at Dally in the Alley in 2019. After seven years of applying, she finally got the call while at work and immediately broke down in tears. She went all in—training by rapping while running on a treadmill, making merch, and preparing for her first-ever hour-long set. That performance was a turning point.

While she hasn’t yet landed a major mainstream collaboration, she values the opportunity to have worked with Detroit legends, which, to her, is priceless.

CRIM’s artistry is showcased through four projects, exclusively available on Bandcamp:

With razor-sharp bars, a delivery that commands attention, and an unapologetic love for her craft, CRIM isn’t just another artist—she’s a lyrical queen. Her wordplay, storytelling, and relentless drive set her apart, proving that she’s not here to blend in—she’s here to take over.
